Since there is a lot of character interaction cue by audio in Time Wench (a voice of outrage cues a mob of people to swarm the player in level 2,) we decided to record our own live audio with the help of Finlay Braithwaite and Chris Luginbuhl. Finlay kindly recorded the audio for us and Chris provided the voices of Narrator, random townspeople, caveman grunts, and even an attempt at the female hero voice.

In a post apocalyptic future, the government has taken The Handmaid’s Tale as a how to guide, and scattered the the world’s greatest women out of their own time and throughout history.But all is not lost! Turns our Marie Curie discovered more than radium. You play as Genypher a sassy grad student and volunteer feline midwife, who has to use Currie’s secret time machine to go back in time to save the future!

About Narrator

Narrator is basically a problematic dude that doesn’t really believe Genypher (Time Wench) is very capable because she’s not a man. So he’s surprised when she does well but also not super supportive most of the time. Like Reality TV Host from the future. Narrator is smart, witty, and incisively sexist. In spite of his tongue in the cheek comments, he means well, and spurs on Genypher during her trials. He secretly wears a #NotAllMen T-Shirt under his suit.

We’ll also do a take of the intro with the narrator in a less douchey voice/script, for safety.
